Cosmopolitan Hotel is an autonomy 86 room and apartments boutique hotel with a meeting room situated in the heart of St Kilda. We are comfortable with public transport nearby.

We’re watching for a casual Guest Service Agent to help our guests have an awesome time. We are small hands on group and like to learn about each department.

Cosmopolitan Hotel, a large hotel chain, is looking for a receptionist for a great job opportunity in its team, check the conditions of the available job vacancy and learn how to apply:

Your key responsibilities with include:

  • Engaging with guests by producing a great first impression.
  • Be the go-to person for all our guests’ needs.
  • Be confident to work solo on the front desk
  • Pay consideration to the small details that make a stay memorable for all the right reasons.
  • Provide our guests with an within scoop on all things St Kilda and beyond.
  • Work well with others in a close team environment.

Successful candidates will possess the following:

  • You love helping people and making memorable moments.
  • Have a proven ability to solve problems and think outside the box.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, for example outstanding phone manners.
  • Role with occasional shift swaps when needed. Operation on a rotational weekend roster! (we all need some time off)
  • RoomMaster PMS experience would be a huge advantage.
  • Previous experience in a customer service environment and attention to detail is essential.
  • Able to work some weekend and public holidays
